Marie Montexier presents Paryìa at Plötzensee, featuring Kat Davids, Naomi, Josiane & SAM. Joining forces with local female artists, this event puts a spotlight on community.
What does community mean - to us, and to Berlin? From the beginning, Paryìa has aimed to bring together both emerging and established DJs. This edition continues in that tradition, bringing the label to your local dancefloor.
So let us introduce to you some of the finest DJs from Berlin and Leipzig!
Starting with Kat Davids from Berlin. Her selections are inspired by the depth of Detroit, dub techno and body high house. Whether holding an intimate atmosphere at a club or letting loose at open airs - she is known to be the one that gets people out of their seat onto their feet.
Next one is Naomi! There are currently few artists who embody the feeling of life, groove and power in house music as authentically as Naomi does. With her skillful craftsmanship on the turntables and her bumping sets, she has made a real name for herself in recent years. Naomi is more than just a DJ - she is a source of inspiration and a driving force for all those who want to experience the magic of house music.
Josiane is a Berlin-based DJ, designer, and creative with roots in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Since stepping behind the decks in 2022, she has been shaping a distinct musical language – one that’s defined by emotion, groove, and a deep sensitivity for atmosphere.
Another special DJ is SAM: With guests on her ‚Whatever Floats Your Boat‘ show on Callshop Radio, SAM has been introducing a musical vision since the beginning of 2022. When she plays, anything can happen, but most of the time, her sets hit the soft spots by carefully blending diverse styles from across the electronic music spectrum, with a recent shift toward a stronger emphasis on house music.
Last DJ is the host Marie Montexier. Her reputation precedes her, so many of you may know her in Berlin already. With performances in some of the world’s most revered spaces, her artistry is distinguished by her deep connection to music and her unwavering commitment to performing exclusively on vinyl, all with a sense of timeless and boundless charm.
Join us for a daytime rave full of rhythm, connection, and delicious house. A portion of the entrance goes to OFEK e.V. (supporting victims of antisemitic violence) and Pena.ger (offering online counseling for refugees), with the rest supporting our guest DJs.
The event will start at 15.00 and end at 00-00.
Come by for a sweet daytime dance! X
