SYNOID is back. Celebrating NINE YEARS of different shades of uncompromising techno in the underground with a 36 hrs+ curation. In our ninth year, we remain fully committed to low-threshold, community-driven cultural formats and continue shaping Berlin’s electronic culture with a clear focus on sound, space, and resistance. This event marks the beginning of a new chapter – introducing the SYNOID label and what’s to come, inspired by the darker, hypnotic, and fast-paced sound shapes of the 2015–2019 era. VENUE || DE: TBA - Wir werden zwischen zwei kulturellen Veranstaltungsorten wählen, die beide im Einklang mit der SYNOID-Vision und der sich entwickelnden Ästhetik des Labels stehen. Die Entscheidung erfolgt mit dem Ziel, den immersivsten Rahmen für diese Jubiläumsausgabe zu schaffen – ein Raum, in dem Sound und Gemeinschaft in einer gemeinsamen Erfahrung zusammenfinden. We believe that one of the most important fundamental ideas of our techno subculture scene is the representation of a certain value system. Especially movements of social justice have a direct impact on our parallel society, where historically from freshly emerged scenes the revolutionary thought is living out freedoms that are often not yet set. All those who recognize, respect and uphold the communal, social values of our fragile parallel society are welcome. ABOUT || DE: Der Sound von SYNOID ist verwurzelt in der rohen, industriellen Ecke der Berliner Underground-Techno-Szene. Schnelle und treibende Rhythmen verschmelzen mit Einflüssen aus Acid, EBM, Rave und Trance. Was entsteht, ist eine intensive, dunkle und kompromisslose Klanglandschaft – rau, wummernd und energetisch. Sie spiegelt den Geist der Stadt wider: urban, dystopisch, zugleich hoffnungsvoll. Ein zentrales Merkmal von SYNOID sind die durchgehenden, oft über viele TaGE hinweg konzipierten Veranstaltungen. Sie schaffen einen Raum jenseits des Alltags. Einen Kosmos der Selbstentfaltung, der Gemeinschaft und der Musik. In alten Ritualen verkörperte das Tanzen Trance-induzierende Techniken, die dazu dienten, sich von Hemmungen und sozialen Zwängen zu befreien. Eine Art Befreiung, die nicht nur die eigene Individualität freisetzte, sondern auch die Rückkehr zu einem natürlichen und reinen Zustand ermöglichte. EN: SYNOID's sound is rooted in the raw, industrial corner of Berlin's underground techno scene. Fast and driving rhythms fuse with influences from acid, EBM, rave and trance. The result is an intense, dark and uncompromising sonic landscape - raw, booming and full of energy. A reflection of the city's spirit: urban, dystopian, yet hopeful. One of SYNOID’s defining features is its extended, long-format events – often running across many days. They provide a space beyond the everyday. A temporary cosmos for self-expression, togetherness and sound. In ancient rituals, dancing served as a trance-inducing technique, helping people break free from inhibition and social constraint. A kind of liberation that not only unlocked personal identity but also offered a return to a natural and unfiltered state of being.
