SCORDISCI: Ruben Ganev (Live), Fergus Sweetland Ft. Özgür Kaya

Join us on Saturday, 17th May, at The Distillery for a night of cutting-edge electronic music. Making his long-awaited London debut, Ruben Ganev will take to the booth alongside Scordisci resident Fergus Sweetland, with both delivering 3-hour sets that showcase their distinct sonic identities. Ruben, a Bulgarian sound designer and label owner, blends hip-hop, IDM, and jazz, with his work played in venues like Berghain and Tresor. Fergus, part of the Hayes Collective, crafts boundary-pushing techno with influences from jazz, ambient, and electronic music. The night will also feature a 30-minute experimental ambient DJ set, with live cello by Özgür Kaya, a talented chamber musician and soloist who has performed alongside artists such as John Williams and Charles Owen. He is currently studying at the Royal College of Music in London. Beyond the music, we are putting a lot of thought into the visual aesthetic of the event, crafting something truly special to create a fully immersive experience - both sonically and visually. Expect a journey that engages all the senses, designed to take you deeper into the world of Scordisci. Scordisci creates a space for pure techno and experimental sounds, blending ambient and electro-acoustic explorations.
