Parameter 10 Year Anniversary - Night Three Parameter x Ilian Tape The final night of our 10 year anniversary weekender, co-curated by Fluxions. An extended club night and collaboration with one of electronic music's most forward thinking and consistent labels — Ilian Tape. Founded by Dario and Marco Zenker in 2007, it's been home to countless stand out releases from a wide array of artists. The Zenker Brothers will join us with some of the label's most talented affiliates, plus a handpicked selection of previous international Parameter guests from over the years. Expect an all out blitz of breakbeat, bass, hazy techno, and more throughout both rooms all night. Saturday, May 17th at Public Works from 9pm to 6am. CYBER1A: San Francisco based duo and FLUXIONS residents will open the night with a b2b set. Known individually as Vertigo and bad juuju, the duo made a name for themselves as residents of Bay Area collective Vitamin1000 before teaming up to form FLUXIONS, a new club night and HydeFM radio show focused on exploring the ever-changing soundscapes at the intersection of techno, electro, bass and breaks. CYBER1A also has a monthly residency on UK-based Subtle radio, and have recently appeared on lineups supporting DJ Stingray, Goldie, Sully, Reptant, Aurora Halal, re:ni, Nick Leon, Doctor Jeep, and more. DjRUM: Finally making his long-awaited return to Parameter and San Francisco, after blowing our minds at our 4-year anniversary in 2018. Since then, he’s continued to release some of the most intricate electronic music as both DjRUM and Struction and will be putting out a highly anticipated new LP on Houndstooth just ahead of his US tour. His DJ sets have also evolved into a true marvel, mixing breakbeat, techno, classical, and ambient together, into a perfect storm of sound on three turntables. He’s rightfully regarded as one of the most technically proficient DJs and producers in the world and will be performing solo plus a very special b2b closing set with Skee Mask, a US exclusive for Parameter’s 10 year anniversary. Ehua: Breakthrough Italian DJ and producer Ehua has been an absolute favorite of ours over the last few years. Her sets are high energy and incorporate heavy percussion, bass, and breaks. Now based in the UK, her Rinse FM residency has become a regular listen for us, and she’s contributed stand out releases on 3024, Wisdom Teeth, and Nervous Horizon. Her set at SQUISH last year was one of our favorites and we’re excited to welcome her back to San Francisco. Farsight: We’re thrilled to welcome back Farsight to the Bay Area for his first appearance since making the move to London in March. It’s been amazing to watch his career steadily grow over the years and it couldn’t be more deserved. An incredible producer and DJ who makes the Bay Area proud. His tracks have earned recent support from some of the most selective DJs, including Batu, Objekt, Pearson Sound, and Om Unit. We’ve been wanting to have him on a lineup for a while and felt like this would be the perfect opportunity for his Parameter debut. Kode9 & Tim Reaper: Hyberdub label boss Kode9 returns to Parameter, this time for a special b2b. We’ve been fortunate to host him twice before, and he always puts on a clinic with his DJ sets. Tim Reaper’s set with Dwarde at Parameter 2024 was a huge highlight, and we’re excited to welcome him back into the downstairs room this time. He recently released the first ever jungle LP on Hyperdub with Kloke, In Full Effect. Kode9 and Tim Reaper have gone b2b a few other times before, but this will be their first time doing it in the states. Expect an onslaught of jungle, footwork, and heavy bass from their b2b. Mia Koden: Resident Advisor’s breakthrough artist of 2024, and for good reason. Previously one half of renowned dubstep duo Sicaria Sound, she’s focused on her solo project since 2023 and put out a number of incredible self-released EPs and singles, plus one of our favorite Ilian Tape EPs. She’s also contributed a number of highly acclaimed mixes for the likes of Dekmantel, BBC Radio, and Ilian Tape. We’re thrilled to welcome Mia Koden for her highly anticipated San Francisco debut. moth: A local favorite of ours, moth, FKA mothbot continues to prove herself as one of the Bay Area’s most versatile selectors. She's known for playing a wide range of styles from IDM, downtempo, and darkwave, to peak-time techno. Inviting her back to play for us after her incredible opening set at Parameter 2024 was a no brainer. She’s recently joined Program as a resident and concluded her weekly darkwave Unfulfilled Desires residency, and her Wish Fulfillment radio show on Lower Grand just celebrated its three year anniversary. Objekt: Making his return to Parameter for the third time, Objekt is a DJ’s DJ and a force of nature behind the decks. Since releasing two highly acclaimed LP’s on PAN and a series of dancefloor classics through white labels, he’s recently founded Kapsela records, a new imprint for his mind-bending ideas. Throughout his career he’s remained one of the most sought after DJs and regularly plays at a number of the world’s most esteemed festivals and clubs. He manages to deliver a unique and memorable set each time we’ve seen him over the years, and we can’t wait to hear what he has in store for us this time. Pariah: Returning to San Francisco for the first time since 2019, when he played a very memorable 5 hour set for us. We’ve been huge fans of his music ever since his early releases on R&S. Together with Blawan, he’s half of Karenn and Persher, and the heads of the Voam label. His Rinse FM show is also a regular must-listen. We’re fortunate to have him out for another rare stateside appearance after his recent highly acclaimed sets at Sustain Release, Free Rotation, Draaimolen, and more. Skee Mask: Simply put, one of our generation's most gifted producers and DJ’s. The Ilian Skee series on Ilian Tape has been an impressive testament to his cadence and consistency, and his full length albums are a deep dive into unique soundscapes filled with emotion and unbelievable production. His recent feature with Resident Advisor was a rare glimpse into his creative process and impressive studio. We were fortunate to host his San Francisco debut last year, a set that left us wanting more. This time he’ll be going b2b with the Zenker Brothers, and then closing out the whole weekend with DjRUM, a stateside exclusive for Parameter’s 10 year anniversary. Zenker Brothers: Munich's Ilian Tape label heads Dario and Marko Zenker join us again for the first time since our 2 year anniversary. They've each had amazing solo releases as well as collaborative efforts over the last two decades, with their 2015 LP ‘Immersion’ being an especially huge influence to us and many others. As DJs they’re known for their selection of breaks, electro, and bass-infused techno. Since forming Ilian Tape in 2007, they've turned it into one of electronic music's most well-respected outputs, accompanied by a great podcast series and occasional club nights. It’s become home to some of our other favorite artists including Skee Mask, Stenny, Andrea, Struction, re:ni, Mia Koden, Pessimist, and more.
