AUM WINTER SERIES - DJ DANNY HOWELLS (UK) A KĀNUKA STAGE SHOWCASE WITH LO-FI PRODUCTIONS Aannouncing the AUM Winter Series of events to be held in Auckland - a series to showcase the theme and unique character of each of our stages at AUM New Year’s Festival. On Friday 6 June we will be joined by special guest Danny Howells (UK) for a Kānuka Stage showcase in partnership with LO-FI Productions. It will be held at an Auckland warehouse location. DANNY HOWELLS (UK) Danny Howells is a champion of mixed-genre DJing spanning house, techno, progressive, electro and more. Having DJed since the 1990s he is regarded as the DJs-DJ and is both one of the best talents in the scene and one of the loveliest people too. Danny’s reputation spread globally in the early 2000s after a series of masterful mix compilations for the Global Underground and Renaissance brands. His unique style of DJing has impressed many and he has also released a series of notable productions. Danny’s DJing and production career hasn’t slowed. His records are renowned and he can often be seen sharing headlines on events alongside peers John Digweed, Sasha, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo. We are excited to have Danny join us for the first time. Prepare for a special night of strange, sexy and uplifting underground sounds. KĀNUKA STAGE by LOFI PRODUCTIONS The Kānuka Stage is AUM Festival's special nightclub in the forest—a wild and beautiful world curated each year by LO-FI Productions. From the lineup to the décor to the overall vibe, the space is transformed into the most sublime underground house and techno experience in Aotearoa over new year's. Each summer, LO-FI go all out with their signature quirky flair: hanging toys, retro art boards, musical totems, and plenty of chill space to connect with friends old and new. Danny will be supported by a crew of LO-FI favourites including Mia Kober, Ana Teles, Matt Drake, and Red Project aka Osey who will be playing a set of all originals/edits/remixes.
