313 connection returns on Wednesday 21st of May with an earlier 10pm start, welcoming our first guest from Detroit: the legendary Gary Martin (Teknotika), joined by close friend and fellow DJ Redmadvelvet (Germany), for a night grounded in the sound that’s shaped this party from the beginning. Gary Martin has been a key figure in Detroit techno since the early 90s. His label, Teknotika Records, founded in 1993, has released a wide range of forward-thinking tracks, often focused on rhythm-heavy, experimental techno with global influence. His music blends percussive drive with sci-fi elements and an approach shaped by decades of working independently. Supported by key figures like Jeff Mills and Laurent Garnier, his work remains influential across both Detroit and European scenes. Redmadvelvet is a close friend of Gary’s and is deeply embedded in the Detroit scene. Based in Germany, he’s built strong ties with artists from the city and regularly plays events that reflect its core values. His sets are shaped by deep knowledge and a long-standing connection to the culture.
