Ian Pooley with Luton & Šćepa wraps up April at Karmakoma with a fiesta of piano stabs and Brazilian rhythms.
Since house music touched the European ground, German producer and DJ Ian Poole has been at its forefront. The way the world describes his vision of the genre is house to tech-house with Brazilian influence, but the man himself has a clearer description that makes you understand his entire oeuvre in a second: "Low key, high quality."
Ian Started writing music in the mid-eighties when he was just 13. With an honest approach and some help from Akai MPC3000 and Roland Space Echo, he has come a long way. Ian cites 1998's "Meridian" as his favorite, but it was definitely 2000's "Coração Tambor" that made him a household name here in Serbia.
Pairing Ian with Luton & Šćepa is a potential overkill and excessive abuse of your dancing feet. However, we will take the risk as we're excited about the spring and sun finally warming up this city.
