Hamatsuki and the Berlin-based Georgian artist Seqta—known for their trance, EBM, and acid house-inspired sets fused with fast-paced techno and dancefloor anthems—return to Horoom on May 10. Joining them is visionary multidisciplinary artist Najaaraq Vestbirk, aka Courtesy. Her work exists at the intersection of sound and contemporary art. As the founder and creative director of the art platform Kulør and the record label Against Interpretation, she curates groundbreaking dance music releases, fashion collaborations, publications, and multimedia projects. Courtesy is renowned for her unique DJ sets, which traverse deconstructed deep house, 2-step, 90s IDM, ambient, pop, and hardcore—evoking everything from nostalgia to unbridled euphoria. Her 2022 debut EP, Night Journeys, was followed by Violence of the Moodboard, the ambient trance album fra eufori (featuring Erika de Casier and Lyra Pramuk), and her poignant sophomore record Intimate Yell, which blends enchanting house music with evocative, thought-provoking lyrics.DJ Sense, founder of the U.F.O. party series, and Sophie Phare—a rebellious voice of Georgian queer culture whose musical identity is deeply influenced by the haunting impressions of the Black Sea coast—will play a rare back-to-back set.
