"I had to create a line-up that made sense musically and drew people into the club. With this specific lineup, I wanted to connect the subtlety and the hardness. I like to mix bubblegum bass with the sounds of hardcore technology. Escstasya, who comes from Lisbon, is an excellent example of this contrast—her work combines femininity with an uncompromising hard sound. Exegesis, as part of the Estrogun collective, connects the idea of transgression, weapons and trans femininity, while Exui is known for her hard bass sound and is also behind the Fairycore Syndicate collective, which carries the softness of fairies in its name.
