DJ Python [All Night Long]

Supper and Sleepless Hours reunite to invite back XL Recordings' DJ Python for an all night long session at Fidelity Studios! Our biannual link up with the snake fella continues, this time under the Easter Friday night lights at Smithfield's Fidelity Studios. DJ Python follows 3 sold out shows for us at Tengu with his first all nighter, stretching his USB muscles across 4 hours to showcase his wily and unpredictable mix of latin-influenced club sounds + beyond. For those that don't know, Brian Piñeyro is a globally celebrated practitioner of a style they call 'deep reggaeton'. Two albums for Anthony Naples and Jenny Slattery's Incienso label, Dulce Compañia and Mas Amable, were smash hits in this vein and he followed this with releases for Dekmantel and AD93, plus a collab album with Ana Roxanne as Natural Wonder Beauty Concept for Mexican Summer. Just this month, he announced the release of the EP 'i was put on this earth' for London's legendary XL Recordings with lead single Besos Robados featuring Isabella Lovestory on vocals. With all the recorded music accolades, it's easy to forget that he's also an absolutely wicked DJ. Cutting his teeth in the NYC club scene of the 2010s, his depth of taste is vast and ability to sweat the 'floor palpable. His previous 3 shows in Dublin were unforgettable (Dido's White Flag with accompanying lighters in the air anyone?), while his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix was easily one of the series' most ambitious and rewarding entries.
