This year SYS celebrates PRIDE with a DOUBLE BILLER WEEKEND! We cannae wait to welcome ROMY and their wonderful partner VIC LENTAIGNE into The Berkeley Suite booth after LEZZER QUEST were invited last year to play during the immense 'CLUB MID AIR' tour. Romy Madley Croft is a musician, songwriter and DJ. First coming to prominence as a teenager as one third of the influential London group The xx, Romy has followed in foot steps of her xx bandmates Oliver Sim and Jamie Smith (aka Jamie xx) to carve out a hugely exciting solo career. In 2020, she released her debut solo single "Lifetime" to widespread acclaim, followed by a collaboration with HAAi and Fred again.. ("Lights Out") and her 2022 breakout single "Strong" which became Romy's biggest solo single to date. 2023 was the release of her highly anticipated debut album "Mid Air", featuring production with Fred Again and Stuart Price. Vic Lentaigne is a photographer and filmmaker who lives and works in London. Graduating from the University of Brighton with a BA Hons in Photography, Vic has been making work involving the LGBTQ+ community since 2010. LEZZER QUEST, the brainchild of Glasgow’s underground mainstays Bonzai Bonner (Shoot Your Shot) and Anna Gram (Correspondant), emerged as a larger-than-life force within the city's vibrant music scene. What started as a collaboration for one-off events quickly evolved into an exciting partnership, capturing the hearts of club goers with their distinctive 'anything goes' musical style and infectious energy. ***** PLEASE READ BEFORE JOINING ***** Y'want a braw night? All genders are to be acknowledged and celebrated, including our beloved non-binary friends. There will be no tolerance of racism, transphobia, homophobia, sexism, body shaming, ableism, Islamophobia, ageism, antisemitism, or anything less than total positivity towards sex workers. All are encouraged to party safely and with intention. Take care of your friends. Support responsibility rather than encourage excess. Set limits on what you want to consume before the party. Don’t be ashamed to ask for help getting home, venue staff will happily help you get in a taxi. /// NO CAMERA POLICY ///// The decision has been made to have a NO CAMERA policy for the party at The Berkeley Suite - everyone who joins us will have stickers placed on their phone's camera lens by our staff. Respect our decision for choosing this for the upcoming six hour party. STROBE LIGHTS AND SMOKE MACHINE WILL BE IN USE. THE DANCE FLOOR IS DOWN A FLIGHT OF OVER 20 STEPS WITH A HANDRAIL. THERE IS SEATING AROUND THE EDGE OF DANCE FLOOR AND UPSTAIRS.
