As we head into the warmer months, we welcome the Thai festival Summer Sound to Doka, bringing with it a truly international line-up. Two of the festival’s affiliates, Chucheewa and Logisticman, both involved in the Bangkok scene. They have brought their infectious mix of records once before to Doka. Belgium’s r.omy, to whom a set feels only complete when she can surprise the listeners with hidden and unexpected elements using emotional or sentimental curveballs. And Denmark’s Telephones, of whom many would say that there are few DJ’s who embody the balearic spirit as well as he does.
