For Vlada second resideny date of 2025, she is joined by the illustrious PLO Man, who is no stranger to The Sound Room by now. Vlada's hypnotic sets are characterized by brooding, long blends that blend jacking acid and subtle techno. PLO's dusty vinyl sets glide between ambient techno, outsider house, and '90s minimalism. Laurence Matte makes her Public Records debut. Her mature yet inconspicuous sound resists big drops and isntead opts for steamy dubs, percussive grooves, and expected rhythms. Making his US debut by way of Australia and now Berlin is Mike Midnight. The underground trip-hop and downtempo producer delivers tech'd out house with a dubby and progressive cool. - Public Records aims to provide a safer space.
