Parameter 10 Year Anniversary Night 2
An extended 9 hour club night of ambitious programming across two rooms, co-curated by Endzeit. Downstairs will be centered around special live hardware sets with support from Endzeit residents, while upstairs will offer a contrasting mix of styles featuring live sets, rare b2b's, and a very special unannounced guest.
Aurora Halal: A true gem of North America as an artist, DJ, live performer, and the creative mind behind Sustain Release and Mutual Dreaming. One of our biggest inspirations as a promoter, and a champion of the sounds we’ve also strived to showcase throughout the years. We’re thrilled to finally have her play for us and experience her amazing live set.
Hodge & re:ni: Bristol meets London for what’s sure to be a heavy b2b. We finally welcome back Livity Sound’s Hodge for his first Parameter appearance since 2016 and RE:LAX co-founder re:ni who delivered an incredible set for us last May. Both formidable producers and inspiring selectors in their own right, we look forward to hearing what they bring together.
Kia & Polygonia: Australian DJ and animalia label head Kia also makes her return to Parameter after leaving a lasting impression on so many of us last May with her psychedelic soundscapes, this time going b2b with Munich based artist Polygonia, one of our favorite producers of the last few years who continues to wow us with each new release. Polygonia’s background in classic music gives her a unique perspective that she blends beautifully into her music. She’ll also treat us to her signature 100% improvised live set earlier in the night.
Kudeki: We’re fortunate to have Kudeki on local support, who’s come a long way as an artist since first playing for us at our four year anniversary. As a founder of Endzeit, and a resident of both Endzeit and MULL, there’s a good chance you’ve experienced one of her memorable sets or events recently. If not, you can expect a wide range of proper techno.
Lotus Eater: Rrose & Lucy join us for a very rare Lotus Eater set. Aside from each artist’s individual deep impressive catalogs, their collaborative work as Lotus Eater is a truly unique and expansive project with some of the most impressive sound design that we’ve heard. This performance will be a San Francisco debut and US exclusive for our 10 year anniversary.
Monosym: Endzeit resident Monoysym will also provide an eclectic DJ set to juxtapose the live set programming. Her Telenetica EP on Australian label Oomycota was an impressive stand-out release for us last year and she’s been booked to play at pe:rsona festival this summer in France.
Orphx: Canadian industrial techno duo Orphx join us for another anniversary, having played our 5 year finale before we took a hiatus. We’ve had a number of requests to bring them back again for a third time and are thrilled to finally make it happen. They’ll be performing their live hardware set as another US exclusive for us.
Sandwell District: Perhaps the most personal booking to us on the entire 10 year lineup, we’re honored to host Regis and Function together as Sandwell District in San Francisco. Their music has been incredibly formative for us and we’re grateful that they’re continuing the legacy of Sandwell District since the heartbreaking loss of Silent Servant last year. They’ll be performing a hybrid set composed exclusively of Sandwell District music, old and new, featuring live visuals from Subset. An experience not to be missed.
Scuba: Legendary producer, DJ, and Hotflush label head Scuba joins us for his first San Francisco appearance since 2017. His seminal early albums on Hotflush were some of the most influential releases of the era. His recent Digital Underground LP’s put a modern twist on ravey, classic hardcore sounds and he'll be performing a special D:U:LIVE set for us.
Sepehr: The hometown hero took his career to the next level after moving to Brooklyn, and now looks to take it a step further in Berlin. He’s become a regular at some of the most respected festivals in the world now such as Sonar, Dekmantel, and Organik. He recently performed a live set for us and Endzeit in November and we look forward to welcoming him back to do another.
Wonja: Oakland based local legend Wonja returns to bless us with another tone-setting opening slot. One of the Bay Area’s most versatile DJ’s, and co-host of the Do/While show on Low Grand Radio. We highly recommend listening to the recording of her set from Parameter 2024 on Soundcloud.
Special Guest: If the lineup wasn’t already stacked enough, we’ll also be joined by a special secret, unannounced guest.
