Bar Temp. invites DITA (KLYMAX DISCOTHEQUE, Bali) for the first of the Neighbourhood Series, where we will invite regional DJs monthly to grace our decks for the night. Bali-based artist DITA began her DJ-ing career in 2014 after being exposed to thevarying perspectives constituting Indonesia’s music culture. Exploring the sounds with akeen ear and a growing excitement, DITA established her collective “Perky Club” whichsolidified her eclectic practice as she bounced between Jakartan and Balinese dance-floors. Armed with musical prowess and an infectious spirit, you can now find DITA witha wide-range of versatile selections including Proto-House, 90’s breaks, Balearic andbeyond. Unfettered by convention of any kind, DITA performs with an unapologeticauthenticity that reverberates deeply across her dance floor, playing by her own rules. DITA’s nuanced sound curated over the years has seen her play on stages such as Boiler Room, Wonderfruit Festival and festivals all across Australia.
