Lovefingers

We’re heading back to The Margate Arts Club and this time we’re bringing legendary selector Lovefingers! Lovefingers has garnered a name for himself through his insanely vast knowledge of music and his skills at putting every genre under the sun together. His legendary ESP Institue nights and record label in LA being host to musicians and djs from all walks of life. In the pre streaming and algorithm days of discovery he shared with us all Fingertracks, opening mine and the world up to so many amazing little known gems that now seem so much part of music culture, it’s amazing to think so many of them came from one man’s obsession for good music. It’s been a few years since Lovefingers came to the UK, so it’s an honour to be able to have him play and to have it happen in such an intimate and fun venue as the Margate Arts Club! We’ll also be joined by the head honcho of Collective Direction Marie Guyot. You may be aware of Marie via her Precious Times show on Threads Radio, where she’s continually shown off her skills and impeccable curation. You should also be keeping a firm eye on her latest endeavour as boss of Collective Direction records. There’s some very exciting releases coming up and very much looking forward to her sharing them with you and the world! We’ll also have our personal favourite and best buddy Michelle McKenzie along for the ride! Michelle proved her skills at the Arts Club on Easter Sunday with 2 hours of wonky bangers that couldn’t help but make us smile and move our feet. She’s been doing that since the day I met her and long may it continue! Playing alongside David Holmes, Richard Fearless, Manfredas and many more, I’m not the only one to have noticed her natural abilities.
