As a mainstay in the Parisian scene, Bambounou’s DJ sets are straight-up freight trains—unrelenting and global. Born Jeremy Guindo, his eclectic mix of French-Malian-Polish roots gives him a unique musical edge, and his love for astrophysics and dystopian sci-fi feeds into his forward-thinking take on UK techno, IDM, and tribal sounds. It’s that perfect mix of experimental vibes and 4x4 beat mastery that caught the eye of Modeselektor, and he’s since dropped two albums and five EPs on their 50Weapons label, each one pushing the envelope even further.
