NAME x 9-9bis - OPEN AIR

This story begins with a special match between the NAME Festival team and the exceptional World Heritage site : Le 9-9bis. Just about 20 minutes away from the city of Lille, an old slag heap alongside the A1 motorway leads us to the n°9 well and its twin, the n°9-bis well. These two wells are the last closed in Nord Pas de Calais mining bassin, at the beginning of 1990s. For the NAME Festival this location was obvious, as the festival carries, in its DNA, the will of making the iconic site of our local industrial heritage vibrate . For such an exceptional venue, and for this second edition, our motto is simple : Back to Basics. Two stages to host a line up that represents the heart of the festival DNA, with artists such as Âme or Jennifer Cardini who are friends of the festival, and artists who will come for the first time in the area and who are not to be missed such as Hardt antoine, Salome, Yanamaste and more tba !
