GiGi FM headlines Wrecked. The dancer-turned-producer brings a rare, authentic mercurial mysticism to her work. Fusing intuitive expression with conceptual rigor, GiGi FM’s work weaves between the cerebral, introspective and corporeal. Her releases have found a home on Bambounou’s Bambe as well as her own Sea~rène imprint, moving between diaristic soundscapes, raw, dubby minimalism and pulsating, trancey groove. Ryan Smith returns to meet her in BASEMENT. Tapping into the mutant, the gnarly and the sleek, Smith’s techno sets are always perfectly saturated with flavor, steeped in his personal, ceaselessly exploratory vision.
For their STUDIO program, Ryan and Ron have put together a barn-burner. OK Williams makes her debut in the club. One of the UK’s standout artists of the last decade, the NTS resident has a rare capacity to absolutely set it off. Williams brings a freshness to every selection and every blend, pushing deliciously taut rhythmic syncopations, rubbery basslines, and tracks drawn truly from across the spectrum. Truly, she can mix anything and make it work. Sterling Juan Diaz needs no introduction. A regular at the club and an MVP of New York’s underground, Sterling Juan Diaz has become an unmissable artist, ripping through sets with a gritty, high octane flair. Ron Like Hell will have no problem keeping up. The Wrecked resident is an undisputed master, fusing the fully trippy with the grounded and groovy.
