UNPLUG! 1 Year Anniversary Party - 2 Rooms - Extended Hours

Well here it is folks. One year later, 52 events on the books, 58 DJs and live acts booked, and we're still bringing you the best we can from our local scene every single week. We want to thank you all for a stellar year. This event only exists if the people want it, and support it, otherwise it disappears. It was created to give back to the community and to bring people together. We make virtually no money on this event, as it's free every week. It's a total labor of love. This week we will be charging a $10 cover though, just to cover expenses, and to take care of all 8 DJs on the lineup. We're also opening a second room, and starting an hour earlier. There is a free option though. All you have to do is be in line at 9pm when the doors open, and you're good to go. That way we start the night strong, and the opening DJs have a crowd for them. There are no ins and outs this night, but the smoking alleyway will be open. We have 5 TVs set up with various video games for you to play, a big stack of board games, and a candy easter egg hunt. The first person to beat our bartender Gib at Tekken 8 will get a free drink, and if you can beat your host Danny Delorean at Dr Mario, you can win one as well. Our drink special is The Johnny Silverhand (from Cyberpunk 2077) This will also be our Neotropolis Festival pre-party, and most of the DJs on the lineup will also be playing at Neo. We're encouraging Neo attendees from the bay area to come through to meet fellow festie goers, test out or work on costumes, and share cool stuff that you'll be bringing. We date through apps, take cabs without drivers, shop onlin3 (or use self checkout), get takeout/groceries/weed etc delivered, take onIin3 classes, have zoom meetings, work remotely, play video games with people onIin3, communicate via social media and text, \/\/atch DJs Iive5tream, have ai create our art, and so many other things that are depriving us of much needed community and human interaction. There is an epidemic of loneliness, depression, anxiety, addiction, self harm, and suicide as a result. This event is a place where you can unplug from everything, and reconnect with each other without the urge to pull your phone out every few minutes. Let's f!ght brain rot! Our DJs spin music under the "Cyberpunk" umbrella, such as: Electro (Detroit Techno), Synthwave, Midtempo Bass, Phonk, Dark Breaks, modern Industrial inspired stuff, and anything similar that we deem appropriate. Come support local artists, at an independent venue, pushing new and unique sounds that you won't hear anywhere else.
