Foundry x Footprints Jazz Club join forces to bring a night of musical exploration, bringing together musicians from across the UK to celebrate and explore sounds from across the globe. Consisting of ground-breaking producer, NK-OK and the formidable multi-instrumentalist, Mr. DM, Blue Lab Beats is one of the fastest-rising production duos in the world right now. The pair seamlessly fuse Jazz, Hip-hop, Afrobeats, Soul and Electronica genres whilst representing a talented generation of musicians coming out of the United Kingdom. The young friends started out as bedroom producers, remixing tracks from A-listers such as Dua Lipa and Rag’N’Bone Man. Fully immersed in their art, they grew into something far more potent - crafting a supple, wide-ranging sound inspired by pioneers of Jazz and Hip-hop, and the music of the African diaspora while staying true to their London roots. Support comes from Sheffield-based jazz fusion quintet, Fuji Speedway, who have been making waves across the city and beyond with their unique blend of jazz, electronica, funk and broken beat.
