Avant-garde artists converge to manifest an ineffable alternate realm—the world of the abyss—together with the audience on the dance floor. Now in its third edition, Makai Irigatashi VOL.3 takes place on the second floor of clubasia, a venue known for its powerful sound and intimate setting—perfect for experiencing extreme artistic performances up close. Within a ritualistic, almost cursed field, surrounded by Naohiro Yoshida’s monumental paintings and the mysterious sculptural works of ARATA ITO and Riku Urata, you’ll witness ferocious yet delicate live machine performances by ATSUKI, G4CH4, Jan Urila Sas, Nobou, and vq. Boundary-defying live acts by OKBOY & Dogwoods, Daichi Wago, and yella goat will collide with distinct DJ sets from hinaruko, JACKSON kaki, Ohayou (RANDOM CODE), and Soutarou Yamazaki, each offering their own unique worldview. The night begins with a sacred performance by Japanese dancer Naoya Yashima, presenting a personal reinterpretation of the traditional piece Sanbasou, a prayer for a bountiful harvest. This work serves as a ceremonial invitation into the abyss, featuring music composed by Nobou and masks created by ARATA ITO.
