Blank Mind presents two live performances at Morphine Raum. The genre-defying Ottomani Parker Quartet makes their Berlin debut, joined for an ethereal live set from Notte Infinita. This is a unique chance to see these artists in an intimate small project space.
Morphine Raum is an open room concept, where controls and recording share the same space for a direct control over the tracking process. It is not a standard studio, nor a regular live venue, it is a combination of the two, making it open to creative possibilities.

Ottomani Parker are a London based dubtechno-jazz outfit, featuring Big Hands, Izz Karpel, Abraham Parker, Hayato Takahashi.
Ottomani Parker (Big Hands, Izz Karpel, Abraham Parker, Hayato Takahashi) is a collision of jazz and dub techno. The project blends live dubbing of Parker’s trumpet, Karpel's saxophone and Takahashi's keys and synths with an unbound array of rhythms, samples and percussive elements. Their sound - which has found a home on labels such as Trule, Baroque Sunburst and Marionette - borrows from Basic Channel, Miles Davis and Jon Hassell, with a heavy current of dub running beneath their compositions and live shows.
The quartet formation often expands. Vocalist Bint Mbareh is a regular collaborator on record and at shows, where the group is also often joined by an array of London's finest musicians: Yusuf Ahmed, Buster Woodruff-Bryant and Andrea Campisi (Sagome) to name but a few.

Notte Infinita is a producer and DJ with a strong affinity with sound system culture and sound design. His sets fluidly traverse hypnotic, ambient-driven techno landscapes and bass-heavy UK sounds, presenting a driving and atmospheric sound.
He has delivered both DJ sets and live performances at clubs like Berghain, Tresor and OHM in Berlin, as well as festivals such as Positive Education’s Pe:rsona.
With releases on labels like Hundebiss, INDEX, and Oscilla Sound, his tracks have been on heavy rotation in sets by DJs such as Donato Dozzy, Objekt, Bambounou and CCL.
Looking for personal ways of working with the physicality of bass through sound systems, he is pursuing abstract world building through soundscapes and sound gestures. Notte Infinita's work is inspired by transient moments, dreams and the interplay between meditative and euphoric states.
