open to close dj set from LEGIT GIRL DJ Heartbreak stories & out-of-breath club experiences : LEGIT GIRL DJ intertwines melodies and rhythms aiming to evoke carefully cherished memories. From hard dance, gabber and techno, to deconstructed club & ambient glimpses, via her sets and her work as a singer/producer, she takes the listener on a journey through nostalgia-tinged throes of love and lust. LEGIT GIRL DJ is the co-host of the yearly Pride month takeover on Rinse France, aimed at showcasing talents from the LGBTQ+ electronic music scene and recently opened the 2024 Boiler Room weekend in Paris. She has been invited to play by labels and collectives such as Live From Earth, Soul Feeder, Sirens and Promesses, and featured on festival lineups like Peacock Festival (Paris, FR), Nuits Sonores (Lyon, FR) and Prémices Festival (Lausanne, CH). All over the world, complaints of “dying dancefloors” abound. No one can pinpoint the cause, but LEGIT GIRL DJ might be the one to resurrect them. In addition to her work as a singer/producer, she is a prolific and poignant writer, as well as, the founder of Last Love Records. She is funny and witty, and like us, shares a reverence for pop culture that borders on obsessive. LEGIT GIRL DJ is the quintessential Parisian cool girl, but with a hint of Carrie Bradshaw. To commemorate Earth Day 2025, we will be making booklets featuring literature regarding sustainability, climate activism, and conservation as well as a selection of essays and poems in the hopes that we inspire you to think, feel, and reflect.
