Hard Mondays is a new Hard Techno night at John Doe. Powered by the Amsterdam Techno Sessions crew. You can expect, every week, the Hardest, and Fastest paced Hard Techno event in town! Headlined by your favourite International Hard Techno superstars and local legends. Tonight! Monday, 21st April 2025, we are back to @clubjohndoe for another “Fast & Heavy” Hard Techno gathering! For this one, we invited @messiahwaits, a South Korean, Berlin-based DJ/producer and label head of MHz, to headline the night! Followed by our resident @no1else.techno. Expect a perfect blend of Hard Techno, psy trance, and Schranz, carefully selected by Messiah Waits in his own way, as he likes to describe it: “Hyper New Rave.” Join us at John Doe from 23:00 until 04:00. Tickets are now available via resident advisor. @messiahwaits, a South Korean-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer, prefers to let his music speak for him. His records, composed of snares, high-hats, and bass drums, tell stories meant to be experienced in a dance floor's dark, sweaty atmosphere. Known for creating droning atmospheres with repetitive rhythms and a dark aura, Messiahwaits defies genre boundaries with his sets, which he describes as ‘Hyper New Rave.’ At 150- 160bpm, these sets blend Hard Techno, Hard House, industrial, Schranz, Psy-trance, dub, acid, and classic Trance. His mission is to make people dance and feel the emotions he conveys through his music.
