Detroit has come to London once again. We've welcomed an elite tier of artists from Motor City over the years, including: Moodymann, Amp Fiddler, Slum Village, Juan Atkins, Mike Huckaby, Kyle Hall and much more. You can see that Detroit is a city that is very close to our hearts musically. 2025? We step up again. We are not only welcoming one of the elite producers and DJs from the city, Carl Craig. He'll also be playing all night long, celebrating 35 years of dance music from Detroit in the process. It's easy to understate the significance of this grammy nominated artist: through his pioneering Detroit techno productions like 'Throw' and 'The Climax’, his incredible remixes (as done for Depeche Mode, Inner City etc), those moving orchestral compositions from his Versus project, the Planet E record label... Carl Craig's prolific success is endemic of 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 Detroit scene. But what makes him stand out amongst his elite contemporaries is his intelligent, scientific and futuristic take on dance music - all whilst feeling deeply Soulful and spiritual.
