ANIMA: Family Dinner 2 (Easter Weekender)

For Easter Weekend - ANIMA invites 20 collectives from across the clubbing landscape to a ‘Family Dinner’. As part of our ethos to keep things fresh and exciting in the local Berlin community - we have decided to create something unique this Easter. The concept is fun - We are deciding to showcase 20 (mostly local) collectives, who we think are doing something meaningful in the club scene. Not everyone is the same; We have done our best to compile a diverse range of crews to gather for one weekend - under one roof. For the first time since Rebranding: the Kreuzwerk side of the venue will host 3 Floors, adding the Oilfasslager floor from Ritter Butzke to the Sauna and Garden on Sunday - creating a much bigger circular map of the club than has been previously available. It will be different than any Kreuzwerk experience we’ve had before. Also with 21 degree weather coming Sunday, we cannot wait to share this dance with you! Our mission as a group is - stepping out of conventional borders. The idea behind the event series is to invite talented bass music producers and DJs as well as established artists from other scenes and provide them with a platform where they can experiment and perform unusual music for them.” ------------------------------------------------- SHOCKWERK - “Shockwerk is a vinyl-only crew & platform, developing special formats and events across Europe. Remember, VINYL - brings people together!” ------------------------------------------------- SWEETSPOT - “Don’t beg for a seat at the table—build your own chair.’ That was our motto when we started Sweetspot. As upcoming artists navigating a DJ-saturated scene, it was important to us not just to take up space, but to create new spaces of our own with this DIY project run by two people, but fostered and kept alive by many of our community. Our goal is to champion unique sound, uplift local artists, and help build a strong and sustainable scene—one that relies on a holistic artistic concept, where music intersects with other forms of media art, allowing visual artists, performers, and creatives a platform to showcase their work alongside music.” ------------------------------------------------- TILT - “TILT's mission is to build something deeper: a platform that centers community, creativity, art and authenticity. The project's goal is to create a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community and all open-minded people, where freedom of expression and acceptance reign. VESELKA's support will contribute to the development of an inclusive culture and provide an opportunity to continue organizing events that bring together people of different nationalities and identities, promoting cultural exchange and mutual understanding.”
