Makaan returns to FOLD’s Steam Room with its signature blend of raw, groovy techno and deep emotional intensity, this time hosting a special edition featuring guests from Asia’s underground. Rooted in the SWANA+ diaspora and built on resistance, Makaan continues to carve out spaces where techno becomes both refuge and a sense of belonging. For this edition, we welcome artists representing voices from across Asia — part of an intentional cultural dialogue that goes beyond borders. We’re fortunate to share this moment with them — especially as two of the artists are in the final week of their UK visas. It’s a fleeting but powerful opportunity to hear their stories told through rhythm and sound — and to experience them through the incredible, solid sound system of the Steam Room. This night is about techno culture crossing borders — learning from each other through music, through dance together, and through shared energies. Expect 11 hours of techno and joy.
