Rhythm Section presents: Todd Edwards + Abby Harris

Rhythm Section Future Proof party in collaboration with Cobalt are delighted to bring you house legend, DaftPunk collaborator & Grammy winner Todd Edwards for a very special one off party. Very early on in his career Todd developed a unique way of utilising sampling, particularly vocals and would often use this technique in place of a musical instrument in his productions. This hypnotic collage of cut-up samples over swung beats and lively disco-flavoured baselines helped set him apart from many of his peers and resulted in him being credited as one of the godfathers of UK Garage, being referred to as Todd ‘The God’ Edwards amongst fans Rhythm Section’s Arts Council-funded artist development programme Future Proof presents Abby Harris in support of Todd Edwards. Future Proof supports six of the brightest emerging DJs and producers from across England with six months of masterclasses, bespoke mentoring, audio equipment, software and training to help them become future leaders in the electronic music scene. This event will be accompanied by a masterclass with Todd in the afternoon.
