As one of the pioneers of the hyperpop movement, Longyu Gao — forged a path for themselves by channeling unfiltered humor and rage into their energetic work. Alice strives to open portals to their past, present and future through their work, a nonlinear journey reflected upon their debut trilogy, consisting of EP 1: High Dragon And Universe, EP 2: Let’s Hope Heteros Fail, Learn, and Retire, and EP 3: Assembling symbols into my own poetry. Released October 23rd 2024 via ÂŁÏÇÉ THE ŁÄBĘŁ, Assembling Symbols Into My Own Poetry takes the words that they’ve spent their entire career scrutinizing and throws them skyward, allowing vulnerability to take control. It’s the sound of a cup that has simply floweth over, it’s the sound of an artist who’s ready to lay it all bare in the name of love. “These songs were made when my life felt alive again. This music talks to my romantic soul, the fountain in my heart, which is where my art has come from since birth,” Longyu Gao say of the project.
