Mitsune blends traditional Japanese folk with the wild and innovative sounds of psychedelic, cinematic and ritual music, crafting original compositions that breathe new life into ancient narratives. Led by a duo of female shamisen players, accompanied with percussion and bass, the Berlin-based 4-piece serves modern folklore with driving beats, raw emotion, and decadent costume design. ortansia rhastoni is a sound explorer whose work revolves around experimentation and quirky grooves in a genre-fluid mixture of ambient, breaks, noise and avant garde. ortansia likes playing with sound in all possible ways, exploring the limits of organic and non organic textures while frequently collaborating with people from other artistic fields. -- This event is taking place at 90mil, a non-profit, DIY space near Jannowitzbrücke, Berlin.
