CLUBSÁSTA PRESENTS:
With a heavy heart we bid a fond farewell to one of our favorites—and one of New York’s iconic club spaces—TBA Brooklyn.
Over the past 12 years, TBA has hosted some of NYC’s top local selectors and parties, as well as heavy hitters from around the world; and we have had the absolute pleasure of hosting some of our favorite nights over the past couple of years.
With only a few weeks left on their calendar, we’ll be throwing our last ever night at TBA on Sunday, April 20th (Easter Sunday / 4/20), with an absolute stacked line-up of local dance music fanatics and room shakers. Expect an eclectic, genre-bending, high-energy night to celebrate the Sunday that’s in it, kick off the summer, and bid farewell to a venue that has helped shape New York dance music culture for over a decade.
On the night, we will be hosting old friends and new to the CLUBSÁSTA booth—making their Sásta debut—Brooklyn duo @feverdreamxx.
Feverdream’s MO is to conjure an unpredictable multi-genre sound; bringing together eclectic tracks that center soul-infused house, breaks, techno, and baile-funk verve. Playing together since 2019, they have rocked dance floors internationally and locally, with the sole purpose of bringing people together. We couldn’t be more excited to have the gals rock the Clubsásta booth and the TBA system.
Making their Clubsásta return and one of the first to join us is the wide-ranged DJ Noise Complaint (@intergalactic_soul).
Hitting the local underground club scene in 2016 at parties like Groovy Groovy and Kiss and Tell, you can expect anything from disco, house, Italo, and breakbeat to D’n’B, experimental, and techno. As a seasoned raver from Eastern Europe to the East Coast of the U.S., her sets are made for the body to move. We are buzzing to see what she’s got in store for us this 4/20 at TBA.
Clubsásta resident, local selector, fashion designer, and our good friend Jordan Page makes his way back to the booth to warm that big Void system, freak the floor, and get you in the mood for the night. The @colourpluscompanie boss has been busy with both fresh apparel and footwear releases, as well as hosting and collaborating on nights at @honeysbrooklyn. Check him out this Saturday 04/05 with @planetb & @princelanguage to get a taste of what’s coming at TBA this 4/20.
Closing out the night, and for a first-time special b2b2b, we welcome back our good friend, the multi-instrumentalist, producer, and wax master @tonyflow, for a b2b session with the Clubsásta boys @bignastyinc and @rumac.
Tony’s landing in NYC has seen him on a nonstop rise—from consistent high-energy, masterfully curated club sets to all-vinyl pop-ups, radio shows, and original releases and collaborations. His most recent EP, Slippin’, draws inspiration from old school house and hip-hop to jazz and Motown. The Miami percussionist and producer blends it all seamlessly into a modern classic sound that we can’t wait to hear bumping through the TBA system one last time.
This isn’t one to be missed.
You know the drill.
