SUNANDBASS visits Human Elements 04/20 SUNDAY

Did you know that every summer, the SUNANDBASS Drum & Bass festival takes place on the Italian island of Sardinia? A dreamlike space where incredible producers, DJs, MCs, and audiences come together for a full week of non-stop Drum & Bass. From the moment you step in, you’re drawn into a magical experience, leaving behind an unforgettable impression that lingers long after the festival ends. Recognized and respected worldwide, SUNANDBASS continues to be one of the most celebrated festivals in the scene. Alongside the festival, the SUNANDBASS Recordings label consistently releases outstanding tracks, pushing the boundaries of the genre. And now, for the first time, SUNANDBASS visits Human Elements, Tokyo, Japan! DJ Delicat, one of the founding members of SUNANDBASS and a long-standing Drum & Bass DJ, will be joining the event. Having been active since the mid-1990s, he first visited Sardinia in 2003, marking the beginning of everything that SUNANDBASS has become today. His sets cover the full spectrum of drum & bass, always on the lookout for fresh and exciting sounds. Making his Japan debut, Zar is an artist to watch, known for his soulful and deep Drum & Bass. Based in Manchester, he recently released his album Anima on DRS’s label Space Cadet and has been steadily building his reputation with releases on V Recordings, footnotes, Gemini Gemini many more. Joining them are the Human Elements resident DJs: Velocity, Aya, JZT and Fonts Zusan. Velocity has been a key figure in Human Elements since its early days, releasing tracks on Liquid V, Jazzsticks, and recently receiving great feedback for his track Bird Theme. Aya has been an active DJ in Tokyo, performing at various events and engaging in online DJ streams. Fonts makes his Human Elements debut, having recently gained recognition with his release L.U.V. on Halogenix’s label Gemini Gemini. Zusan played a crucial role in bringing FD to Japan for a successful event and continues to be a reliable force in the Human Elements crew. JZT, now fully back in action, remains an essential member of Human Elements. On Sunday evening, there’s no doubt that the sounds of Delicat, Zar, and Human Elements will perfectly fit the NUMM. ------------------ 毎年夏にイタリアのサルデーニャ島でドラムンベースのフェスティバル SUNANDBASS が開かれていることは知っているだろうか?? 多くの素晴らしいプロデューサー、DJ、MC、そしてオーディエンスがが集結し、1週間に渡りドラムンベースが鳴り続ける夢のような空間。 ここに足を踏み入れたら瞬間から魔法のような時間に引き込まれ、その余韻は終わった後も長く心に残るとされ、世界中から多くのリスペクトを集めているフェスティバルの1つ。 またレーベル SUNANDBASS Recordings も素晴らしいトラックをリリースし続けている。 今回そのイベントが “SUNANDBASS visits” として日本、Human Elements で開催が決定! SUNANDBASS の創設者の1人であり、長くドラムンベース DJ として活動する DELICAT。 1990年代半ばから活動する DJ で、2003年にイタリア サルデーニャ島を訪れ、そこから SUNANDBASS の全てがスタートしました。彼のプレイはドラムンベースのあらゆるスタイルを網羅し、常に新しいサウンドを探求している。 そしてマンチェスターを拠点にソウルフルでディープなドラムンベースで今後さらにブレイクが見込まれる Zar が初来日。 Zar は DRS 主宰の Space Cadet から アルバム “Anima” を発表し、V Recordings, footnotes, Gemini Gemini を始め多くの良質レーベルからリリースを重ねている注目のプロデューサー。 そして Human Elements の DJ として Velocity, Aya, Fonts, Zusan, JZT がラインアップ。 Velocity は Human Elemets 創設初期からイベントを支えるプロデューサー。 Liquid V, Jazzsticks などからリリースを重ね、先日リリースした Bird Theme も好調。 Aya も都内での DJ を中心にプレイを重ね、オンラインイベントなどの動きも活発に行っている。 Fonts は Human Elements 初登場のプロデューサーで、先日 Halogenix によるレーベル Gemini Gemini より L.U.V. をリリースし評価を受けている。 Zusan は先日開催された FD 来日公演を成功させ、安定感のあるプレイで常に Human Elements を支えている。 近年、完全復活した JZT も Human Elements には欠かせない存在。 日曜日の夕方、Delicat, Zar そして Human Elements のサウンドが NUMM にフィットするのは間違いない。
