The Northern Irish audiovisual artist/producer Max Cooper is not only an electronic musician but also holds a PhD in computational biology. However, in 2010, he decided to fully dedicate himself to music, inspired by artists like Jon Hopkins, Sigur Rós, and Ólafur Arnalds. Since then, he has released seven albums featuring intelligent electronica, techno, and IDM, often reflecting his scientific background. Cooper constantly explores what it means to be human—also on his new album On Being (2025). Expect a spectacular fusion of sound and visual art!
