The gig sold out and the demand for more was incredibly high. Now friends Peter Kruder & Richard Dorfmeister are returning to Stockholm to perform their classic album "THE K&D SESSIONS" live at Berns Söndagen on October 5. This year marks 25 years since pioneers Kruder & Dorfmeister released the magical album "The K&D Sessions". It is very rare that an album comes out that captures the atmosphere of a time, "The K&D Sessions" was truly one of those records that did it. During the late 90s, there was no one who had not heard one of the songs from the album and it was played everywhere. Now, 25 years later, this iconic album is considered legendary and the story behind it is just as much. It can be hard to understand that a mix or remix album would have such an enormous impact and influence on a music movement as this album. To celebrate this monumental milestone, they are now releasing an exclusive box set (6LP + 3CD) of ‘The K&D Sessions’ with lots of photos and history surrounding the album and are embarking on a world tour to perform the album live. We now have the immense joy of being able to present a date in Stockholm where you will be able to experience this very exclusive musical experience where Kruder & Dorfmeister will perform ‘The K&D Sessions’ live. On Sunday, October 5, Berns will be filled with the tones of their sample-based music where everything from funk, jazz, hip hop, dub, reggae, ambient etc. are mixed together and create music that takes you back in time but also gives you a musical impression for the present.
