Woesum + Kamixlo

——— WOESUM (SE) Woesum is a Swedish producer, artist, and DJ, known for his collaborations with Yung Lean, Bladee, Thaiboy Digital, Namasenda, Coucou Chloe, and more. Beyond his production work for others, Woesum has also carved out a distinct solo career, notably with the 2021 LP, Blue Summer, which showcases collaborations with the aforementioned artists and features contributions from Oklou, Ant Wan, and DJ Scream. In 2024, Woesum released his latest EP, Paradise Tree, and contributed production to evilgiane’s mixtape, #HEAVENSGATE vol. 1. He also collaborated with artist Kamixlo on the 2019 release Azucar. Woesum's DJ mixes have frequently appeared on NTS, including Felix Lee’s Endless, Bala Club, and The Royal Mix with Billy Bool for Bladee radio. ——— KAMIXLO (UK) Brixton born and bred producer, artist and DJ, Kamixlo's music lies at the riveting, emergent edge of grime, reggaeton and experimental bass. In 2015, Kamixlo founded the legendary underground collective Bala Club. With Bala club nights, he established an inclusive operation with its own unique style of cross-genre post-club music for the margins. His first commercial release, 2015’s Demonico EP, was on Visionist's Codes X Pan imprint. Kami went on to release two more EP’s on his own Bala Club imprint, and in 2020, he dropped his debut LP for PAN, Cicatriz, meaning scar in Spanish. DEATHWORK, also released on PAN, Kamixlo’s latest LP, was released in July 2024, “reawakens the spirit of Bala Club by calling on past collaborators to blur the boundaries between nu metal and industrial reggaeton” (Resident Advisor).
