Kara Delik: Die anatolische Post-Punk-New-Wave-Band aus Berlin explodiert mit dynamischen, polyrhythmischen Psych-Grooves, Live-Energie und einer Vorliebe für außerweltliche Effekte. Kara Delik begnügt sich nicht damit, Kontinente, musikalische Genres, Zeiten und das Universum zu überqueren, sondern kreiert einen dynamischen, zeitgenössischen und psychedelischen anatolischen Post-Punk-Dub-Sound. Die Musiker*innen bringen ihr je eigenes stilistisches Erbe ein und erzählen nichts weniger als die Geschichte des anatolischen Rock, Krautrock und Dub auf eine einzigartige und neue Weise, alles mit einem spritzigen und explosiven Live-Punch. Im Jahr 2020 gegründet, haben Kara Delik zunächst die Berliner Szene mit ihrer Debüt-EP Tamam zum Kochen gebracht, bevor sie ihren Sound über den Kontinent trugen und ihre Fans mit einer Tetralogie von EPs mit den Titeln Singularities I-IV belohnten. Im April erscheint das mit Spannung erwartete Debütalbum des internationalen Trios. Das selbstbetitelte Album „Kara Delik“ enthält 11 Tracks mit einer einzigartigen Mischung aus energiegeladenen, komplexen Rhythmen, Klanglandschaften und Effekten - ein Post-Punk-Gewitter mit anatolischer Hitze. Not content with spanning continents, musical genres, time periods, and the universe, Kara Delik is responsible for conjuring up a dynamic, contemporary psychedelic Anatolian, post-punk dub sound. The combined output of a set of musicians, each with their own stylistic legacy, have manifested something that is uniquely new and energetic, narrating the history of Anatolian rock, Krautrock, and dub, all delivered with a zesty, and explosive live punch. Founded in 2020, Kara Delik first exploded onto the Berlin scene with their debut EP Tamam, before taking their sounds across the continent, later rewarding fans with a tetralogy of EPs, entitled Singularities I-IV. 2025 will see the release of the anticipated debut full length album of the international trio, to be released independently on April 11. The self-titled album “Kara Delik” will feature 11 tracks of the Band’s unique mix of energetic, complex rhythms, soundscapes, and effects, delivering an industrious post-punk melee of Anatolian heat.
