Introducing our headliner, SP:MC. Making waves now for over 2 decades, SP:MC has cemented himself as one of the most respected & busiest MCs on the circuit. He burst onto the scene in 2001 after the legendary MC GQ heard one of his early mixtapes. SP went on to cement his status after touring extensively with Friction, later becoming dBridge’s MC of choice, followed by a spray of ‘Best MC’ awards . Versatility & quality control are guaranteed when SP’s in the building.
His music production has also received widespread acclaim with releases such as ‘Shadow’ with Breakage & ‘Surrender’ and then ‘Trust Nobody’, on the infamous Tempa imprint in 2008. More recently, he released ‘Pondlife’ / ‘R1’ on Vivek’s System Music imprint, & ‘Vintage’ / ‘Slugfest’ on Youngsta’s label Sentry, along with an array of his own releases on his own label Declassified, showcasing his hybrid version of UKG/ 2-step.
Next up and closing out the night is Anna Morgan. She is a tastemaker and curator of globally minded low-end frequencies. An LA transplant hailing from the Bronx, Anna is a DJ, producer, promoter, and label co-founder whose sound expresses her eclectic experience. Her dynamic sets are full of surprises, genre-bending, and high energy. Her international touring schedule and unique blend of sound system and club culture have won her the DJ Mag “Break through DJ of the year,” crown.
In 2024 she has been handpicked as support by forward thinking artists like Kelela, Ivy Lab, GJones, Eprom, The Glitch Mob and Ternion Sound. She ended 2024 playing at the Iconic Red Rocks and is set to make her 4th appearance at Bass Coast festival this July. Anna was recently named by UKF as an up and artist to look out for. As per her productions, she has charted on Beatport and Juno. This March she released remixes for Machinedrum and Black Rave Culture with support on stations BBC1, NTS, and Rinse by hosts like Sherelle, Yaeji, and Madam X.
Opening support on night from resident Don-Ri.
