Klein + abji_hypersun + Malika Mahmoud

Klein Klein is an artist and musician whose work often blurs the lines between fact and fiction. Her music releases, films, and performances are often informed by urban mapping, surveillance, humor, hip-hop, noise, identity, and beyond. Her work has been shown and/or performed at Museums, Galleries, yards, squats, and pubs, including the infamous The Old Blue Last and the New Cross Inn. abji_hypersun abji_hypersun is the moniker of Simin Stine Ramezanali, a visual artist and drummer, based in Copenhagen. As a member of the experimental doom punk trio SLIM0, and as part of the duo abolish with Maryam Fazeli. abji_hypersun mixes fragments of d’n’b, breaks, doom, memos, shoegaze, untuned instruments, multiple voices, and beats. They move in between feelings of beauty, the funny, the scary, the loud (something in between nightmares and dreams). Malika Mahmoud Malika Mahmoud’s music selection are characterized by an ever expanding curiosity. Her selection is driven by melodic sounds and vocals sometimes disguised in cheeky club remixes. She challenges the idea of singularity by jumping in tempo and genre. ___________ 20_14 is a music platform offering a series of contrasting double at Copenhagen Distillery. This concert is a part of a three year long collab with Distillery presenting favourites from around the world. Favourites such as Spresso , Slauson Malone1, bar Italia, ML Buch, John T. Gast, slim0, Fine, Claire Rousay, African-American Sound Recordings, Barbro, Florence Sinclair.
