Samedia celebrates a major date in the Latin American calender with an all vinyl sonic excursion from selector and digger extraodinaire DJ Santa Leticia, who finally makes her debut Samedia appearance after we had to cancel her original appearance last year due to a venue closure. Santa Leticia is a DJ & radio host that spins old and new music from dreamy lands where the sun shines brightly. Born in Andalusia, Spain, she thoughtfully curates top-drawer records primarily from her diggin’ trips to tropical and Mediterranean realms. Now based in Newcastle upon Tyne, she is lighting up the north through Newcastle’s Slack Radio, hosting “Un Rayo de Sol”, and her residency at Radio Alhara. Santa Leticia is also the co-founder of Rainforest Disco, a monthly vinyl-only party in the North East of England where she spins epic global grooves. Renowned for her deep spirited and imaginative sets, Santa Leticia casts an irresistible spell of unapologetic joy and ardent warmth.  We're really excited to hear these warm and uplifting sounds on vinyl with you all, we welcome you along to dance!
