FESTISH ATTIRE MANDATORY
BAUGRUPPE90 returns to take on BOUND. Hailing from Berlin, the duo distills everything great about ravey techno into a perfectly honed rollercoaster. Rough yet sleek, their music explodes with energy and vibrates with pristine craft. Their most recent “Flight Tracker” is an absolute club monster, blending deep and dubby chords with throbbing percussion and earworm vocal chops. BASEMENT’s resident Newa joins the lineup. The Tbilisi artist is a modern techno phenom, embracing the full range of the form with a fluency that is truly remarkable. Her releases range from spiritually-tinged ambient to spacious, purist techno to searing, trance-infused beaters. Kate Rex pushes the room to the limit. Shifting gears between throttling techno, pulsating hardgroove and harder sounds, Rex continues to raise the bar for BOUND and for herself.
Marie Montexier returns. The Paryìa label boss has made her mark for her remarkable curation, both as a DJ and with her imprint. Montexier can hit with deep, sub-rattling bass, hypnotic darkness or effervescent airy groove. It all comes naturally. Paryìa has similarly become a home for a wide range of artists whose work is defined by its intriguing tactility and unique punch. Physical Therapy’s quiet fearlessness and sense of subversive play has made him an essential presence in the US underground. It’s no question he’s a DJ of exceptional fluidity, but his versatility and moving-target qualities have also helped him avoid being pigeonholed. His Allergy Season label has been a testament to the joys of collaboration, spontaneity and omnivorous tastes. With its iconic parodic artwork and cheeky titles, Allergy Season, and Physical Therapy by extension give you permission to relax and let loose while the music does the heavy lifting. Gag Ørder, one half of the beloved duo KIA, completes the lineup with a dose of seriously nasty club energy. Strap in for a relentless ride through the filth and the fury, the agony and ecstasy.
