What if the club folds in itself? What kind of music gets played there, between nostalgia, internet irony, and futuristic signals? Timed alongside Places' exhibition titled "Why Do I Never See You at the Club", "Club" Club Naught is both an invitation, a retrospect, and a challenge — between early club classics across the globe, Charli's "club" renaissance, and the desire to return to timeless disco boogie bliss.
Join Eojin Kim, godemperor and Dunaway for a night of genre-bending night of intimate dancing, celebrating the collaborative potential of the dancefloor.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Queers, gays, theys and thems to the front
- No touching without consent.
- Notice the desire in yourself to dance
- Notice your desire to connect with others, how can you invite them into your space?
- Keep conversations on the dancefloor to a minimum—let the music set the mood.
- No parking on the dancefloor — if you are not dancing, move out of the way.
