Aquelarre is back again at Leith FAB Cricket Club with two of the most exciting and wonky international acts at the moment: Naomie Klaus and Chris Imler.
Brussels-based producer, romantic grunge upper-downer hearter nineties turbulent child, Naomie Klaus (Moli Del Tro) sees her music as a mischievous polymorphous mental back garden. She invents and interprets tragico-glamorous narratives over trip-hop rhythms, oscillating between pitched down vocal delays, shouty grunge, lazy punk and something stylistically edging on ‘pop’.
"Known as the "Grand Seigneur of the Berlin Underground," Berlin's standing drummer and dandy Chris Imler (Fun In The Church/Moli Del Tro) has been a key figure in the city's music for years and constantly tours his solo electronic projects, which are experimental but very danceable, across Europe. His distinctive style is evident in albums such as his current "The Internet Will Break My Heart" named Experimental Album of the Month in The Guardian.
Sounds Of Ogigia’s head-honcho, Pako Vega, will take to the decks. He will deliver a DJ set packed with wonky, psychedelic vibes. Expect everything from disco oddities to punk dance, cosmic disco, and beyond.
