Pre-human is back on May 17 for a new installment of live performances and dj sets, across an extended night from 9:30 PM.
Mbodj opens the night with a specially curated ambient set, a prelude to the live shows that follow. First up, Space Afrika, the renowned UK genre-defying duo consisting of Josh Inyang and Joshua Tarelle. Andy Stott follows, venturing into the shadowed depths of dub techno, where unsettling tension gives way to moments of pure, euphoric release, all woven with threads from his highly anticipated new album.
The night deepens with live performances from Babylon co-founder NPLGNN and Christoph de Babalon, a master of tripping rhythms, dark spaces and eternal melancholy. UK duo Demdike Stare bring their propulsive drums and layered compisitions, and rRoxymore seals the deal with her singular, off-kilter club selections.
Doors open 09.30 PM (C/ Pamplona, 88).
Drink included before 10 PM.
