Overjoyed with Allysha Joy (DJ Set)

After two packed-out dances at Grow, we’re back canal-side on Friday 30th May with a guest who’s been high on our wishlist for a while — the incredible Allysha Joy. Best known for her powerful solo work and as frontwoman of Naarm’s 30/70 collective, Allysha Joy returns to Grow for a rare DJ set. Last time she played with LAANI and if you were there, you know this one’s not to miss. Expect spiritual soul, bruk beats, deep jazz and raw, truth-filled cuts — all handpicked by one of the most exciting voices in global jazz-soul right now. Joining her on the night are Overjoyed residents Gilla & Russ Ryan, keeping things moving from warm-up to wind-down with a blend of rare groove, house, and dusty beat science. If you’ve been to one of their parties before, you know what to expect: a room full of dancers, a red light and a proper sound system.
