At this month’s Dance Club on Saturday, May 10th, we’re bringing in a special guest DJ all the way from Chicago- MISTER WALLACE! Plus we’ll have Artemis on lights & fog and your resident guest DJs, Joyce Lim, Baronhawk Poitier & Tommy C. 5/10 11PM-3AM DC9 (Club Level, 2nd Floor) MISTER WALLACE Mister Wallace is an icon of Chicago’s queer underground and a world-wide legend. As a DJ, producer, rapper, lyricist, and founder of the FUTUREHOOD record label, Mister Wallace creates body shaking music that celebrates queer culture and history in its sonic spirit and provocative lyrical content. ARTEMIS Originally just another face in the crowd of warehouse partygoers, DC-based Artemis.105 is known these days for lighting designs that regularly melt brains and other bodily organs, at parties like Noxeema Jackson, Hast Du Feuer, 140+, and Friends With Benefits. He has a unique ability to transform empty space into an atmospheric experience. DANCE CLUB Dance Club is a LGBTQ+ BIPOC+ event celebrating DC’s incredible selectors and its robust dance floors.
