Place: Toronto Release Party & Listening Session hosted by Ciel

In collaboration with NYC label Air Texture, our very own Ciel has curated a 100% Toronto-producer compilation for the next entry in the Place VA series. To help mark the occasion, she's invited the artists to perform for a two-day event, starting with a release party at Standard Time on May 8th, and finishing with a stream at Rhythm Space on May 9th. "Toronto as a dance music scene reflects the diverse demographic of its inhabitants. Our proximity to Detroit, NYC, and Montréal, our connection with London and the Caribbean, and status as a major immigrant hub has helped establish a scene that's a true melting pot of sounds, from warehouse techno to ragga jungle, from leftfield house to dancehall, from hi def trance to lofi chuggers." Standard Time is proud to present this true community event, by the underground scene, for the underground scene. We will begin at 6pm on the dot with a listening party of the entire release, followed by 4 B2Bs and 4 live PAs.
