Tenebris Oculum with Kaytseng (NL)

Saturday, 10th of May, Tenebris Oculum’s shadow realm opens its doors once again at Module. Leading the charge is Taiwanese-born, Netherlands-based Kaytseng — Crude resident known for her earth-shaking techno and driving, emotive trance numbers. She’s joined on the main floor by local forces Alda Vain B2B DJ Hauge and Dragovic. In the Kiosk, Shin Di and Mousan Corr will carve out a voyage into the meditative soundscapes of deep minimal melodies. Kaytseng is an artist who has shown a distinct ability to intrigue and impress, leaving a lasting effect on each and every dancer who bears witness to her spellbinding DJ sets. Having made the move from Taiwan to Australia some years back, Kay for many years stood proudly as one of Naarm’s (Melbourne’s) most respected purveyors of dark, gritty electronic music. Having supported the likes of Mama Snake, Schacke, Neri J, Blue Hour & DJ Spit, her ability and dedication behind the decks has been showcased via landmark mix invitations from industry-leading outfits such as Boiler Room and CRUDE Berlin prior to her moving to Amsterdam in 2023. It would be the year in which Kay deservedly ‘levelled up’, as she made her SÄULE (Berghain) debut for the aforementioned CRUDE Berlin - delivering a performance that instantly secured an ongoing residency with the Berlin label. Though just beginning her European journey, we’re already eagerly awaiting the next stages in Kaytseng’s artistic journey.
