Two years since he first lit up the Outlaw’d dancefloor, Dr Dubplate returns to Cork City — and this time, it’s bigger. The EC2A boss, fresh off celebrating five years of his forward-facing label, makes his long-awaited comeback to Outlaw’d for a very special show. For those who know, EC2A has been one of the most consistent forces in underground UK dance music, pushing cutting-edge sounds across vinyl, dubplates, and beyond.
Joining him is Dylan Fogarty — one of Ireland’s most uncompromising forces, with a reputation for razor-sharp selections and an instinctive grip on building tension and energy in a room. Dylan has steadily carved out a space for himself, both at home and further afield, as a standout artist.
This show also marks nearly three years of Outlaw’d, a collective that’s carved out its own space in Cork’s nightlife. We’re linking up with Real Fear Records, a fresh local imprint championing the darker, more experimental edges of garage, bass and beyond. Representing on the night will be Tano, Ultrapollen, and Blaskets — the head honcho of Real Fear — with a stacked back-to-back set ahead of the main performances from Dylan Fogarty and Dr Dubplate.
NATMAC, the driving force behind Outlaw’d, rounds out the lineup — known for setting the tone with fearless, genre-pushing selections that consistently raise the energy.
Happening in Cyprus Avenue, one of the city’s cleanest-sounding rooms, just weeks after a standout Bushbaby show, this one’s set to be a proper moment for the heads.
