Zilzal'z Sonic Ceremony II

Zilzal returns for its second sonic ceremony edition, once again embracing music, art, and the spirit of resistance in a collective moment of defiance and solidarity. As the political landscape continues to slowly drift towards the abyss, the call for community has rarely echoed so loudly. We therefore want to come together again from the 23rd until 25th of May at our beloved Cala Fou. More than 30 sound artists will use their unique voices and creative expression to explore different genres of sound. Visual art will accompany the sound and dress the walls and spaces. Installations will offer an alternative immersion into other realities. Zilzal's sonic ceremony* will take place over 3 days, starting Friday evening on the 23rd of May and ending on Sunday evening, 25th, as an intimate gathering with a limited capacity. Cala Fou, the ceremonial space, is an old textile warehouse complex turned into a cooperatively organised “eco-industrial, post- capitalist colony”. The ticket price includes access to the festival for all days, space to camp and the RA fee. 20% of the festival profits will be donated to a Palestinian charity.
